Step Ahead Online Tutoring Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the relationship between Step Ahead Online Tutoring ("we," "us," or "our") and the users of our online tutoring services ("you" or "your"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Online Tutoring Services: Step Ahead Online Tutoring provides online tutoring services to students in various subjects. Our services include one-on-one tutoring sessions conducted via video conferencing or other online communication platforms.

2. Eligibility: Our services are available to students of all ages, provided that students under the age of 18 have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Tutoring Sessions: a. Scheduling: Tutoring sessions are scheduled in advance, based on the availability of both the tutor and the student. b. Lesson Duration: Each tutoring session will have a predetermined duration, as agreed upon by the tutor and the student. c. Online Platform: Tutoring sessions will be conducted using the online platform agreed upon by both parties.

4. Payment: a. Fees: You agree to pay the agreed-upon fees for the tutoring services as specified in the payment terms. b. Payment Method: Payments can be made through the designated payment methods provided by Step Ahead Online Tutoring. c. Billing and Invoicing: Invoices and billing details will be provided to you as necessary.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling: a. Cancellation: If you need to cancel a scheduled tutoring session, you must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice, except in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances. b. Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule a tutoring session, you must contact us in advance to make arrangements, subject to tutor availability.

6. Code of Conduct: a. Respectful Behavior: You agree to treat the tutor with respect and maintain appropriate behavior during tutoring sessions. b. Academic Honesty: You agree not to engage in any form of academic dishonesty, including plagiarism or cheating.

7. Privacy and Data Protection: We take your privacy and the protection of your personal information seriously. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, associated with the tutoring materials provided during the sessions remain the property of Step Ahead Online Tutoring or its licensors. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or modify any materials without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability: a. We strive to provide high-quality tutoring services, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes or improvements in academic performance. b. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use our services.

10. Termination: We reserve the right to terminate our tutoring services at any time if you violate this Agreement or engage in any inappropriate behavior during the tutoring sessions.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Step Ahead Online Tutoring is based. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

12. Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time. You will be notified of any material changes, and your continued use of our services after the changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated Agreement.
